Another Year Older!

I turned another year older on June 28th, Yesterday. But my feelings have been changing every year. I feel more matured and wise. Now matured is a vague term, so let me try and explain it. I don't think matured means lack of humor. I don't mean I have a Anna Wintour or Victoria Beckham like demeanor either. Though I have great respect for the classy ladies. No, thats not what I mean. I think maturity is about becoming bolder and being less shy. Caring less about what people would say or think. Being comfortable in my own skin. The best part about being post-30 is having lived a big chunk of my life already and the realization that comes with it. Being at a point when you know that you can achieve whatever you want to, if you start today. if you start now. I do get up in the morning, check out the fine lines. And then I apply some eye cream and start working towards my next venture idea. Thats what I love about my age!

I do have to look after myself, unlike in my 20s when skipping a meal was no big deal. I respect myself more now. I eat healthy. Indulge occasionally. Stop by the mirror and spend a little time for my skin. Get occasional workouts, though thats something I am still having a conversation with. 

And most importantly, I have a blog. It would be wrong to say that this is my life, but then I can not deny that this is a 'Very Big' part of my life. I think of it every time i am traveling, eating, about to fall  asleep. I am a person who needs motivation and thats what I get from you, through 'I'm My Own Muse'!
