For me beauty on the beach essentially means to smell good. To keep the skin supple and well protected from the sun. For extreme measures I carry some cooling face mask and some drug store bought aloe vera gel, which I store in the fridge, before applying. For my convenience, I divide my list in categories and try to keep each category as short as possible. Nothing ultra moisturizing is required as I have combination to oily skin. I prefer a good face scrub to keep my face clean. Check out my 5 favorite scrubs. A small bottle of face cleansing oil, a face cream and an eye cream. These multiply into 2 for the night routine as well, except the scrub as my cleansing oil is good enough, and I just wipe it off with a wet towel after that. Then just a nice face cream and an eye cream and thats that.

For sun I like to use a bit of heavier protection. When I get into the water I use a water resistant sun protection as it doesn't wash off easily and its also much better for the environment as you are basically not washing off harmful chemicals into the ocean.
I do suggest carrying a small bottle of aloe vera gel available at the drug stores and storing it in the refrigerator for the after sun blisters. Just in case!
