Lucky Find

During fall it's our favorite thing to set off for a surprise location. We wear our hiking boots, carry few fruits and carry a few layers to cover ourselves. This Sunday while we were driving off to the bear mountains, we changed our mind and turned towards New Jersey. As we were driving around we came across this beautiful state park and it was gorgeous. Our treasure hunt had paid off!

Fall Picnic

Fall is here my lovelies and we have been looking for colors. With a little luck, we did find what we sought and for safe measures carried along a little picnic basket. A fall picnic is one of my favorite things. Just pick up one or a couple of cheese, prosciutto, couple of apples, chocolates and crackers. While we are on our way, we pick up a couple of hot chocolates.  The spot we pick up usually has a lake, not only for aesthetics of the photo but also, because it proves out to be a great spot for Margo to swim. We usually refer to the Fall foliage map and set out.

Black for Fall

I came across that black should be a staple in a wardrobe. An LBD, a black tshirt, a black trouser but if thats the case then, my wardrobe is full of "staples"!

I have lost count of how many black dresses I even have. But then I feel its only a black dress that is beautiful and has the power to make you 'feel' beautiful. Do you think so too?

Ready for Fall

Fall, to me is the time when the old sheds giving way for the new. In terms of my outfits, i usually recycle. its when i recycle my summer outfits to recreate something new. A new outfit.

By Myself

Hanging around by yourself can be fun sometimes. We were in SFO for a few days and since M was working, it meant me hanging out by myself for sometime. I did what I loved the most, a little self-created spa environment, a little dressing up and I was having lots of fun. Here are a few pictures of one such day. Hope you like them.

Lake Tahoe

I am smitten. Lake Tahoe is true to every word that will fall on your ears. Its emerald type green, and as serene as a clear blue sky. Only that we didn't get a very clear blue sky. It rained. But I am still enchanted. There were snow-capped mountains at a distance and beautiful large lakes on the other side.

Out Of The Blue

I am probably early. But think of getting up in the morning at a time that is just a little before everyone is about to. Getting hold of a book, before it turned out to be a read-by-all kind of book, finding a table in a restaurant after just a while when you were contemplating whether it will be your's or the other couple standing next to you, who would go in first.

Yes its Fall. Not Winter and not summer, but somewhere in between. skimpy cotton in a passé while chunks of woolen and overcoats a bit too much right now. I picked up an overcoat. But you know what, it felt good in the evening when the chilly wind blowed. It felt cozy. So whats your Fall fashion staple?
