3 Dark Lip Looks for Fall

Fall to me is bold. I like to go warm on my face and either bold lips or eyes. Not smoky but clean structured eye makeup is what I like. For lips I like bold warm colors. Well, mostly you will spot me in pink, but I can confirm that I might  be spotted in any of these 3 during my evening outs.

5 Steps to Kissable Lips

We all usually reach out to the lipstick when we need a quick update or sit down in front of our vanity for a detailed makeup. Whatever be the case, lipsticks are a must! There are plenty of ways to work around the trusted lipstick, but the one that takes time an effort, turns out to be the perfect way to do it.

Here are these simple 5 steps to achieve that perfect kissable pair of lips:-
  1. Prime your lips. I always use a M.A.C Prep+Prime
  2. Line your lips. I always draw a full bow for my upper lips, but for my lower lips I emphasize lower lip more. Also, I never finish the line up to the corners. Used here - M.A.C Pro Long Wear - More to Love
  3. Apply lipstick. I usually apply lipstick directly and then.
  4. Spread it out with a Brush. Used here - M.A.C Sheen Supreme - Zen Rose
  5. And finally, a key step. I have learnt this from my mother, and also from tons of B&W movies. And the big secret is, to rub the lips together. It gives the perfect evenness, and is the easiest way to do it.
Lastly, I use another weapon for achieving perfection. My trusted cotton bud. Any major imperfections can be earased out with this little magic tool.

Do you like this look? I would love to know and have a conversation with you. So, please do leave behind your comment, suggestion, insights, love notes... I am listening.
